Scheila
Scheila Meister is currently the most successful weightlifter in Swiss weightlifting history. With four appearances at European Championships and World Championships, as well as potential opportunities at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, she is unlikely to lose her title anytime soon.
Her best placement at a European Championship was achieved in April 2023 in Armenia, where she secured fourth place. She narrowly missed out on the bronze medal by just a few kilograms. In the 2021 World Championship in Uzbekistan, she finished in seventh place.
Her personal best performances, achieved in October 2023, stand at 90 kg in the Snatch and 110 kg in the Clean & Jerk, all while weighing 59 kg.
